Marilyn Feltz: Bohemian Idyll

In the fashion display booths on the pool level, La Piscine is presenting a new ready-to-wear brand which relocated from Paris to the “Maisons de Mode” incubator in Roubaix, setting up shop alongside the museum in 2019.
Marilyn Feltz is a young apparel designer from Paris who is proud of her label’s anti-fashion stance. A former music critic, with an enviable collection of vintage pieces, she and her husband Alexis Gaffuri have been designing collections since 2015 in a totally independent spirit, based on her “DIY” philosophy. Perfectly embodying her personality, deceptively classic designs incorporate a savvy blend of inspiration, ranging from Arts & Crafts to club culture, as well as references to Art Deco and Biba. She has gained a following of women on the lookout for rarity and sells her garments throughout the world. Since moving her brand to the Vestiaire in Roubaix, Feltz has all her designs manufactured in the town that she now calls home.
